As the Crew Coordinator you will be reporting to the Department Manager/Crew Manager.
This role is primarily administration and communication for the department's leadership team, but has a strong emphasis on supporting the day-to-day needs of department crew on the floor.
You'll therefore play a part in helping to develop meaningful and trusting relationships with crew and support initiatives that drive individual and team performance.
Your key responsibilities will include: Being crew facing, you will be a regular contact on the floor for the team, as such you'll have a people-centric approach.
And reporting this back up to the Department Management team.
Crew rounds checking in weekly on how the crew are doing using various communication platforms.
E.g.
Email, teams groups, Forms Handling administration tasks within the department (including timesheets, crew leave, supporting crew feedback and the daily administrative needs of Crew Managers and Department Manager.
Handling calendar management for the department.
Assisting crew with in-person onboarding and maintaining onboarding processes and platforms for the Department such as the SharePoint/Twiki and facilitating initiatives with Trainer.
Performing Health & Safety inductions when required.
Assisting Department Manager/Crew Manager in the administration of 'Arrivals' and 'Departures' process.
Providing sickness and leave support for the department management team.
Organising the planning & administration of show-based seating.
Liase with Department Manager/Crew Manager/Central Production for morale boosters and department gifts.
Covering meetings / note taking during meetings as required.
Key success measures: Using initiative, being self-motivated and can adapt to change.
Working within a team with enthusiasm, is highly organised and can juggle various priorities, while maintaining a calm and personable demeanour.
A confident and clear communicator, have excellent interpersonal and time-keeping skills and be able to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise.
