Production Quality Control & Assurance Production Quality Control & Assurance – Hygiene Line
Shift: Rotating
Location: Penrose, Auckland
Hours: 7.00am - 3.00pm & then 3.00pm – 11.00pm
Oji Fibre Solutions is New Zealand's leading manufacturer of pulp, paper and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our Paper Bag business based in Penrose, Auckland designs and produces multi-wall bags for the Dairy, Cement, Flour and Sugar industries throughout the country and into offshore markets.
We need an experienced person to work on our Hygiene Line at our Paper Bag site in Penrose.
What we need from you: Experience working on a production line doing Quality Control & Assurance Checks or from a Lab background
Conduct scheduled daily checks and random checks of product on the line
Authority to stop the production line if product is not up to required standards
Strong communication skills with the ability to decline product based on Quality standards
Ability to make effective quality decisions within a time-pressured environment
Physically fit; the role involves lifting and stacking of bags on the line
Proven experience within a manufacturing environment along with a solid understanding of health and safety
What we offer: Competitive hourly rate ($28.87 per hour) + rotating shift allowance
