The Role: In this newly created position, you will be the key contact for stakeholders to the business, managing the logistics of processing, testing, sales, storage and transport of the product throughout the supply chain.
You will also manage both the local and export shipping of products, with the ability to travel throughout Canterbury to meet local growers.
Responsibilities: Inventory management, recording stock movement, monitoring costs, undertaking stocktakes and reconciliations of product.
Manage the supply chain from fresh fruit to finished product.
Operations support, overseeing procurement of packaging supplies, freight, co-ordination of processing and logistics; tracking of product movements.
Sales support, receipting of orders, preparing release and arranging delivery, liaising with cold stores, container loading and creating invoices.
Contract negotiations with NZ customers, managing quality and regulatory requirements.
Export sales coordination, overseeing documentation and labelling.
Experience: FMCG and/or primary sector industry experience, including experience with FMCG production processing (highly regarded).
Proficiency with computerised systems including ERP and Office 365.
Working knowledge of MPI regulations.
High level of numerical capability, strong analytical and planning skills.
Competent administrative and accurate data entry skills.
Confident communication skills, collaborative and customer-centric approach.
