Production Operator - Permanent

Our client is seeking dedicated Production Operators to join their team at a Napier rendering plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in meat processing or those who enjoy hunting and are comfortable working with animal products. You will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment that processes ovine products for export, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
What They Offer:
On-the-job training, including forklift and frontend loader operation
Competitive pay rate of $30 per hour, paid weekly
Two months of day shifts: 6 am - 6 pm
Two months of night shifts: 6 pm - 6 am
Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift (training provided)
Work on a rotating day and night shift roster
Requirements:
Be a team player and willing to learn and progress in the workplace
Follow good manufacturing practices
Show a good solid work history
Must be based in New Zealand and legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (we operate a drug and alcohol-free workplace)
