Production Operators *You must be a NZ resident. Overseas applicants will not be considered for this role* We are seeking experienced Production Operators with the ability to work across different facets of our Hillsborough clients plasterboard manufacturing process. Daily resposibilities will be varied so if you are multi-skilled, intuitive, motivated and safety focused, please read on. This includes identifying faults and quality assurance. You may be using a forklift and gantry crane (experience is a bonus but don't worry, full training will be provided). Plant operation within manufacturing crews. Process control, following all operating procedures correctly Operating machines and replenishing lines General manufacturing duties Routine checks of plant operations Computer-controlled equipment About you: Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Forklift licence and OSH Certificate along with current NZ driver's licence a bonus High degree of mechanical aptitude and technical problem solving Physically fit and the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and product Good written and verbal communication skills and numerical calculations Self-motivated and able to work within a team Able to prioritise and meet deadlines Safe work practices and Health and Safety awareness After your initial training period you MUST be willing to work on a rotating roster: 4 days on 4 days off - 2 day shifts (7am to 7pm), then 2 night shifts (7pm to 7am) *Please note that our commitment to our crews safety on the job means that everyone undergoes a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and a criminal history check* APPLY NOW!
