We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as wine bottling Production Operator.
About the Production Operator RoleAs a wine bottling Production Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our wine bottling production line. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of quality and productivity while adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
Some key responsibilities include: Operate and monitor the wine bottling production line, including labelling, filling, and capping processes Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machinery to ensure optimal performance Conduct quality checks at regular intervals to ensure the wine meets our high standards Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may arise during the production process Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and ensure smooth workflow Requirements Ideally, you will have Have the eligibility to work in NZ long-term Previous experience in a production line environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry Familiarity with operating and maintaining production line machinery Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain quality control Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods Good mechanical aptitude Benefits What you can expect from us Be recognised for your contribution and hard work, go home knowing you've helped the company progress Career development & education assistance to further your technical and/or leadership ambitions A work environment where safety is always the number one priority A wage reflective of your skills and experience with an annual bonus target 9% superannuation Annual wine allocation Exclusive employee discount in Cellar Door and Jacks Raw Bar (restaurant) Company provided health insurance cover for employees and subsidised health insurance for applicable immediate family members Company provided income protection insurance cover Ongoing access to family-friendly health and medical wellbeing support
