We have multiple opportunities here at our Mount Maunganui site so starting out in Production, while challenging, is a fantastic way to really get to know the business and to catapult your Ballance career.

We manufacture fertiliser to help farmers feed the country and this can bring with it a challenging work environment.
As a Production Operator (internally known as an Acidulation Operator), you will perform a range of activities on a variety of equipment including: Producing top quality product to the company quality standards Correct and timely operation of the manufacturing plant Raw material intake operation Offering exceptional service to both external and internal customers Mobile plant operation including loader and forklift operation ABOUT YOU You are physically fit with the ability to communicate well with both peers and leaders.
You have a high level of understanding and a proactive attitude to Safety, Health, and Environment.
While experience is great - most importantly is your reliability and commitment to the team.
We can train everything else.
A good guide for what we are looking for includes: The flexibility and ability to work rotating shifts across 24hrs You thrive in a busy environment and see everything as a learning opportunity Mechanical aptitude and production experience (advantageous) with a good level of numeracy and literacy skills Excellent interpersonal skills, you relate well to others and contribute to a positive team environment Forklift and Loader licenses are advantageous - if you don't already have these, we can help you get them!
You can pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
