Production Operator

As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing plant, responsible for overseeing the production of powdered infant formula. Your expertise in operating and maintaining equipment, along with your keen attention to detail, will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities include:
Operate powder production equipment according to standard operating procedures, while following strict quality control measures to maintain product consistency and purity.
Monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.
Maintain accurate production records and reports for documentation purposes.
Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Production Operator, in the dairy or nutritional formula industry.
Knowledge of powder processing equipment, specifically dryer and/or evaporator.
Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Maximum Requirements:
Certifications or qualifications in dairy manufacturing.
Engineering or Food Technology Degree or similar.

Hours of Work:
12-hour shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 nights on, 4 nights off.
Start and finish times will be staggered over an 18-hour period initially.
As production volumes increase, we will move to 24 hours per day, continuous operation.

Remuneration:
Hourly rate of between $35 and $40.
