As we prepare to expand our team, we're seeking passionate individuals to join us in this journey of excellence. We are now calling for people with experience in a canning environment to join the team as a Production Operator.
The primary function of this role is the efficient and safe operation of equipment and consistent production of high- quality ZIWI canned pet food.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a food manufacturing environment with high speed automated process machinery. You will be used to meeting production targets, while maintaining quality and upholding safety standards.
Key responsibilities: Proficient in operating and maintaining high speed automation equipment
Conducting quality checks, monitoring critical control points, and maintaining product quality standards throughout the production process. Efficiently managing time and resources to meet production schedules and deadlines, optimizing productivity while maintaining quality standards. Identify equipment malfunctions and implement solutions to minimise downtime Key requirements: NCEA level 2 A proven track record in handling advanced automated equipment (Full training provided) Experience with canning machinery Expertise working with high-speed production processes.
