Pure Nutrition Limited (Pure Nutrition) is a joint-venture between Ausnutria, a leading Chinese pediatric milk formula company, and Westland Milk Products (Westland), a longstanding Dairy organisation based on the West Coast of New Zealand. Pure Nutrition blends and packs finished dairy-based nutritional products for supply to Ausnutria and other international organisations. Pure Nutrition is a stand-alone entity that has built its own plant at Rolleston, and the plant's initial capacity is expected to be around 20 million cans of milk formula per year.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced operator to join our team for a parental cover for a 15-month fixed term contract, starting in January 2025 and finishing March 2026.
This position requires a team player to join the Manufacturing team. The purpose of the position is to action operational tasks as needed across all care areas in Production, including Low Care (warehouse), Medium Care (In-Process Lab, Can Packaging, Bag Stripping, Wet Wash Room, and Drying Room), and High Care (Dispensary, Blending, Filling), in line with quality, food safety, regulatory, SOPs, and safety requirements to meet production targets.
Tasks will include:
Running the warehouse, can packaging, in-process lab, dispensary, and blending, filler room.
Completing daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks.
Working collaboratively with the greater team to achieve production targets.
Deep cleans and standard cleans.
Adhering to quality, regulatory, safety, and process requirements.
Escalating manufacturing and food safety issues in line with the reporting process.
Assisting in non-conformance requirements.
Reporting and working with People and Safety to ensure the safety of the manufacturing and other areas onsite.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience and competence across low care, medium care, and high care areas in an infant formula manufacturing plant.
Has previous experience and confidence with HMI systems.
Is fluent in English (written and verbal) with sound reading comprehension.
Has at least high school level numeracy and mathematical skills.
