The ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Pacific and North East Asia division leads the development within door openings and products for access solutions in homes, businesses and institutions. Our offering includes doors, door and window hardware, locks, access control and service. The division has commercial and operational activities across Australia, Japan, Korea, and New Zealand. Based in Auckland, we are seeking a Production Manager to work the night shift to join the team
The key areas of responsibility in this position are:
Effectively Manage all Production functions in the TeamActively contribute to our ongoing Lean journeyFoster an environment of continuous improvement.Lead a team based multi skilled work environment. You will be accountable for:
Providing leadership to the team through Coaching and performance management as requiredAchieving the agreed production KPI's and business plans for assigned production teams.Production team's performance regarding Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, QualityAuthorise expenditure regarding teams' supplies, repairs and maintenance, PPE and project work within limits of approved budgets.Ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and operating processes are kept up to date to abide by quality and maintenance systems.Maximise labour and resource utilisation across the teams with a focus on multi-skilling.Ongoing 5S, QMS and continuous process & quality improvement activities.Liaise with other business functions (where applicable) to achieve desired outcomes and results for all business processes.
