Our Production facility is located in Glendene with our Head Office in Ellerslie.  The position overview This role ensures that production can meet the supply required for business objectives while achieving efficiency targets, process improvements and overall compliance with Dangerous Goods manufacturing. The Production Manager reports to the CEO and has overall responsibility for ensuring a high performing production facility and team are operating efficiently.  The overall performance and engagement of the production team are managed by this role. You will execute strategic plans related to production and site to ensure that the business can sustain and deliver on growth objectives. Managing the site compliance, process improvements and site related developments is a critical part of the role. You could be nearing the end of your career which is no roadblock to securing this role, it's experience we are looking for.Experience in people leadership with a strong engagement track record.Ability to manage and motivate production team.Proficient in production analysis and developing performance reports.Experience with using ERP systems to input data, data analysis and produce meaningful reports.Skilled in using Microsoft Office365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Organised, detail oriented and able to follow through with production plans.Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening and interpersonal) skills.Presentation and reporting skills.Excellent self-management skills, including working effectively without direct supervision, managing andorganising workloads in sometimes stressful situations.Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others.Exceptional organisation and time management skills, with a high attention to detail and quality control.
