Position: Factory Production Manager

If so, our client is looking for an experienced individual to leverage these skills in their workplace. You will be working for a small organization that specializes in quality Custom Joinery (Timber & fixed cabinetry), serving clients in the medical industry, multi-residential apartments, restaurants & bars, high-end houses, and office fit-outs.
Your duties as the Factory Production Manager will include, but are not limited to:
Managing all areas of Production, including:
The team in the factory
Maintenance of machinery
The throughput of work
Scheduling projects
Continuous improvement of processes, promoting and implementing single piece flow principles
All aspects of the manufacturing process (including necessary details of shop drawings & materials)
Meeting KPI's, ensuring delivery in full, in spec & on time
Liaising with operations manager, project manager & draftsperson
Full-time commitment (arrive before the team, prepare the day, and ensure all is locked up at the end)
Health & Safety
Some of the requirements for this job include, but are not limited to:
Extensive knowledge of Joinery manufacturing
Hands-on experience and great tool knowledge
Good business acumen – formal training/recognized qualification is an advantage
Great team player
Willing to teach & be taught
Engaged in our purpose & goals
