We really are a company that wants to make a positive difference.Reporting to the Head of Wastewater, the Production Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of wastewater treatment plant operations to ensure the efficient, safe, economical treatment of wastewater to meet regulatory requirements across the southern region.Key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:Development of a high performing capable workforce that demonstrates high standards of collaboration, excellence, and effectiveness.Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by implementing systems, controls, monitoring, and initiatives to develop a culture of safety awareness and safe work practices.Manage the contracted services for 3rd party support of the business, ensuring that contractual obligations are met.Lead, direct and communicate regular reviews and monitoring, planning, and coordination of wastewater facilities to ensure business processes are followed.Nga pukenga e rapu nei matou | About youTo be successful in this role you will demonstrate:Experience in developing and leading teams across multiple locations.Community & professional engagement experience through liaison meetings and guided visits.Experience and ability to coordinate and manage incident responses.A comprehensive understanding of wastewater treatment operations to confidently participate in project design workshops and oversight of treatment plant internal project management.Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop business cases, audit reports, and present complex information effectively to both internal and external audiences.A good understanding of relevant legislation and compliance obligations.Knowledge and demonstrated practice in health and safety legislation, systems, standards, and requirements.A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, or a related field.We offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including:Training and development opportunities.Life and income protection insurance plans.Generous parental leave.Employee discounts at a range of large retailers.Me pehea te tono mai | How to ApplyCome and join our team!
