Job Description: We are seeking 1 Production Manager.
We are looking for 1 Production Manager. This job is required to perform duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following:
Production Management:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and optimise output.
Monitor daily production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Coordinate with the procurement and logistics departments to ensure the availability of raw materials.
Manage production shifts and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate production requirements.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure all products meet established quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant standards.
Oversee the implementation of sanitation and hygiene practices throughout the production process.
Team Supervision and Training:
Lead, supervise, and train production staff to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Process Optimisation and Problem Solving:
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production efficiency and reduce costs.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Prepare and analyse production data and report to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to mitigate hazards in the production area.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among production staff.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
A Bachelor degree qualification or higher in Management
At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the qualification requirement
Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
Be a team player but also able to work independently
