About the role As Production Manager, you will play a vital role in leading, optimising and managing activities within the production facility. You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standard of safety, quality and efficiency to meet GMP requirements. Key duties and responsibilities. Lead a dedicated team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve organisational goals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to optimise inventory levels and continuity of supply to meet customer requirements. Develop and maintain SOP's, production manuals and associated documents to GMP and ISO:9001 standards. Manage production schedules, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to deliver in full, on time. Identify and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement, uplifting productivity and increasing efficiencies without compromising quality. Foster a safety-first culture throughout the team and wider business, About you Our ideal candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in management, business, or an engineering/ trades related field is preferred. Proven success in a production management role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Effective communication, planning, negotiation and problem-solving skills. The ability to work collaboratively across functional areas to maintain customer satisfaction. A critical eye on quality measures with familiarity of GMP protocols or highly regulated environments.
