Based in Onsite, Porirua Full time, permanent role Competitive remuneration package + benefitsYou must have the legal right to live and work in NZ and to work for Moana NZ.Moana New Zealand; we are true guardians of the world's most pristine and sustainability managed fisheries (kaitiakitanga).We connect the world to the true taste and rare magic of New Zealand's best kaimoana.Our Opportunity: This is an exciting time to be joining our fisheries business as we recently moved into a new state-of-the-art site in Porirua, focused on the processing and supply of premium fish, paua and crayfish to domestic and export markets.Reporting to the Operations Manager, Southern Region, the Inventory & Production Officer will play a critical role in supporting Production Supervisors and Managers across Ika (Finfish) and Paua Tuwa (Wild Paua) to ensure robust production and inventory practices, processes, and systems are in place to drive operational efficiencies, productivity, and cost effectiveness.Working in both a factory and office environment, this is a diverse role that requires exceptional coordination, planning, and delivery capability and skills.Key areas of responsibility:Manage daily production order workflows, monitor staff resourcing, and ensure all the systems and processes are adhered to.End to end inventory management and reporting.Quality checks; production and monitoring of product yields and production statistics.Work with IT teams to develop system requirements and priorities for areas and business-wide.Be the Inventory systems and LEAN champion to ensure we continually improve SOH, Inventory, and consumption statistics.Work with other Production and Inventory team members and cover as required.Assist with the coordination and management of compliance, quality assurance compliance records, including the coordination and development of SOPs.Monitoring and reporting on production and resourcing performance.Administration support.You will have a broad remit of responsibility across production and inventory.

A multitasker with excellent organisational skills, who builds trust and delivers to expectations.To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 3-5 years of administration, planning, and ideally inventory experience in FMCG/Primary industry and/or manufacturing sectors.Commercially savvy, you must be able to assimilate complex order and inventory information quickly and effectively and make recommendations to managers.
