Production Filler / Packer

Mangere, AucklandCasualPositions Purpose:Carries out instructions that will ensure high quality products are filled/cartoned while complying with all health and safety hygiene and housekeeping proceduresWithin this role is interaction at all levels with respect to line efficiency, solutions, improvements and recommendationsEnsure Health and Safety standards are achieved and maintainedOperations:Accurately carry out all operating, packing and cartoning activities to meet or better quality, safety and output requirementsMaintain accurate documentation of process and packing conditions including completion of all process control logs, down-time sheets and carry out all operating procedures / activities as documented or advised by your Team LeaderEnsure any delays or events, which may impact on product quality, are identified and highlighted to the Team LeaderMonitor line wastage and take appropriate action to maintain this to agreed levels and or reduce wastage levels to meet or better existing reject targetsProvide support to the other team members as required so production filling is not delayedMaintain the high standard of quality of all products filled and packed on siteRecognise and communicate faults occurring in all Filling / Packing processes to enable timely rectification of faultsActively participate in training sessions and improvement meetingsAny other duties that is requiredQualityFollow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards at all timesEnsure all information for Product quality is recorded accurately, on time and in full to required format and standardsCleaning and Sanitation routines are achieved to required standardsMaintain production quality to the required standardsAttributesAcceptable level of written and verbal English skills/comprehension and numeracy abilityActs with integrity and is reliable and trustworthyIs reliable and accurate in work practisesIs well presented at all timesDisplays a positive and enthusiastic “can do” attitude and retains a positive demeanour even in the face of difficultiesWorks as a team player and goes out of way to help
