Production Assistant

We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate Production Assistant based in our Auckland manufacturing site. As the Production Assistant, you will support the Production team with the successful day-to-day running of the Auckland manufacturing site with a primary focus on MOS coordination and administrative activities. You will represent the company not only through your technical skills but also by being an ambassador for who we are and what we do at JDE.
This role will provide key support to the Production team in the delivery of all key business processes in the area based on the demand requested by planning and supply considering safety, health and environment, quality, labour utilization, optimized cost, production execution, coordination, and control.
This role will also lead and provide support to continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes targeting the plant's effectiveness.
Qualifications We're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing environment
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
Highly organized and self-motivated/proactive
Committed to Continuous Improvement and change management principles
Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate and communicate across all levels of the Plant
