Production (Architectural & Spatial) Designer

Our Location Based Experience (LBE) Team are renowned for creating unique and meaningful experiences, from the intimate to the epic! They've worked on exhibitions, narrative-driven destinations, museums, galleries, retail spaces, art installations and a lot more...The team are looking for a Production (Architectural & Spatial) Designer to creatively oversee the production design and the concepts and assets produced on our LBE projects.The main responsibilities for this role areProviding leadership on LBE Production designInitiating creative , technical and innovative design conceptsCommunicating, inspiring and maintaining creative project intent Creative mentorship for our teamYou can find out more about the finer details of the role in our job description here.What we need for this roleWe're looking for someone who has high standards, and proven experience working on (and designing) a mix of projects - immersive experience-based attractions, exhibition design and live experience event design. An architectural/draughting or spatial design background will be beneficial.You'll be a compelling communicator, and enjoy mentoring and motivating to get the best out of your teams. You'll have demonstrated innovative, creative and technical abilities, and ideally a relevant qualification.You will need a solid understanding of creating designs that can be plausibly manufactured, and have a keen interest in the type of work we do.Why us?Weta Workshop are a world leading creative company – quite simply, we make cool stuff!
