We have the opportunity for a motivated professional to join the Surgical Ophthalmology sales team in an exciting role and to be part of the ZEISS story.
The ZEISS Surgical Ophthalmology portfolio features premium IOLs & OVDs, recently launched next generation phacoemulsification system & market leading surgical ophthalmic microscopes. We are seeking a high performing professional to take responsibility of this exciting range of products in sales & support within the New Zealand north market.
Working closely with colleagues responsible for clinical diagnostic devices & laser refractive suites, you will be uniquely positioned to offer customers a complete solution for their ophthalmic workflow. Ideally based in the Auckland area, the successful candidate will seek to develop new business while building relationships with an existing customer base.
What you'll be doing:

Manage the achievement of annual revenue goals for sales within the New Zealand North territory.
Provide prospective customers with accurate information and sensible solutions, which best address their needs.
Continuously develop accurate market mapping related to the New Zealand cataract surgeon landscape.
Prepare quotations, managing in-field inventory and ensuring sales activities are recording in the CRM system.
Provide thorough in-service training to each customer for applications of our ophthalmic products.

What you'll need:

University qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Exceptional communication skills.
Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent team building, teaching and motivation skills.
