Join ANZCO Foods Waitara as a Product and Process Technologist. This full-time permanent position will report to our Customer Quality Manager.
This position will see you deliver product development, production support, and solutions to the processing function at ANZCO Foods Waitara (AGF, APF), to ensure that best practices are being utilised to achieve optimal operational performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to product and process developments across the operation.
Responsibility for development, scale-up, and commercialisation of new products, modifying existing products, and producing samples for relevant markets. Evaluation of product shelf-life.
Recipe management control, i.e., creation, amendments, and issue of new recipe versions for use by production.
Creation and review of finished product specifications and labelling.
Sourcing and evaluation of ingredients and packaging for site use.
Review of new product/development opportunities for site.
Development of validation protocols and management of validation trials.
Completion and participation in capex projects and commissioning.
Customer reporting and participation in customer visits and meetings, including product presentations.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
At least 3-5 years' experience working at a meat manufacturing, food production, or similar operation.
Product development and process improvement experience.
An understanding of Quality Management Systems, Food regulations relevant to the range of FMCG products produced at APF/AGF.
Relevant food processing qualifications and/or tertiary food technology/food science training.
Basic financial understanding to support costings and feasibility analysis.
