As a Product Owner, you're not just a key player - you're the driving force behind bridging the gap between product strategy and development. Picture this: You'll maintain and support the core product backlogs across EIS, Customer Communications, and Integration Services. What you can expect your day to look like While you are attending standing squad rituals, no one day will be the same. Between managing the product backlog, managing roadblocks, being the support pillar between other squads ensuring sequencing of deliveries are free of conflicts and problems as well as being integral in planning and supporting our top initiative deliveries, you will have plenty of work to keep you busy. Setting you up for success We're not the sink or swim type of company. Not only will you have another Product Owner that you will work closely and seamlessly with every day, but you will also have a transition period with the previous role occupiers to learn everything you need. You are also placed with squads who are experts in the product domain and will enable your continued success. What you'll need Our ideal candidate for the Product Owner role is a passionate and innovative problem-solver with a strong technical background and exceptional communication skills. They thrive in dynamic environments, excel at building collaborative relationships, and are committed to delivering value to both the team and the customer. To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following: Experience as a product owner or demonstrated interest and research of the role Understanding of Agile development practices An understanding of the Insurance industry Experience working in cross-functional teams including project managers, designers, business analysts, developers, and technical leads Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences Ability to collaborate and bring teams together to deliver on business objectives Excellent relationship management and communication skills; must be able to work closely with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and external agencies Demonstrated capabilities in platform service & product lifecycle management Making sure we are doing what's right; if you feel comfortable doing so, please let us know early in the process if there are any diversity needs, we can meet or make reasonable adjustments to enable you to shine.
