As a unique Kiwi and Pacific insurance provider with over 150 years of history, our roots trace back to Dunedin.What you will be doingAt Tower, we are boldly aligning with future insurance trends, making this an exciting time to join our team and significantly impact our home product and portfolio.As the Product Manager for Travel & Pet insurance, you will report to our Head of Product and play a crucial role in developing attractive, innovative, and profitable insurance products that align with our risk appetite.A key aspect of this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet market needs, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities:Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and ensure customers receive superior service and value.Utilise market research, competitor analysis and customer feedback to develop and improve current products (like travel and pet insurance products).Lead implementation of product initiatives working with colleagues from digital, finance, marketing, sales and external organisations.What You'll NeedThe ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker with a passion for innovation, excellent collaboration skills, and a keen interest in developing cutting-edge insurance products.To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:3+ years travel insurance industry experience with some experience in product management preferable but not required.A track record of playing a key role implementing new customer facing initiatives.Comfortable interpreting general insurance policies.
