Location You must be based in Auckland, New Zealand as you'll need to come into our Mt.
Wellington office from time to time.
Work from home up to 2 days and flexible start/end times are negotiable.
About the role We're seeking a Product Manager for a 6-month or more paternity cover.
The role involves establishing best practices to guide our products to full maturity as the business scales.
The focus will be on telephony and cybersecurity products, with the flexibility to cover other IT products as required.
You'll have the opportunity to set standards and processes to drive product maturity, with support from the CTO and cross-functional teams.
What you'll be doing Defining Product Strategy: Consult, set and prioritise the product strategy and roadmap.
Product Forecasting: Develop forecast of customer and market demands.
Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to set and review pricing.
Competitor Analysis: Research and analyse direct and indirect competitors' vision and positioning.
Develop Core Positioning, Training and Marketing Materials: Create and maintain documentation with help from peers including but not limited to user guides, contracts, marketing & sales materials.
Manage Product Lifecycle: Determine actions required to upgrade, improve, revise or reposition products and execute product changes.
What we're looking for 2+ years proven experience in an IT product role, or from a background that leads to product management e.g.
Service Delivery, Business Analyst, IT distribution.
Proficient in analysis and writing reports.
Excellent planning and organisation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Personable, with a passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Have a love for technology.
Legally eligible to permanently work in New Zealand and have a current full New Zealand driving licence.
