We are actively seeking a Product Manager to join our dynamic display team at Samsung NZ.The Role:To provide the necessary specialist product and marketing knowledge & up-to-date reports to the Display team.
To analyse key sales promotions, market pricing, and determine the best ROI for future planning.
Maintain model and channel pricing including new product information sheets.
Weekly Supply Chain Management with the sales team.
Monthly updates on our Partner programme.Assist the Sales Team in the achievement of the division's sales and gross margin objectives by preparing detailed product marketing plans for the product portfolio with specific inputs relating to price, product, promotional and advertising programs, distribution strategies, point of sale support, and service requirements.Manage current Mobile data sources to ensure data is provided in full and on time (e.g.
store sales, pricing, etc).Create and manage reports such as: Business Dashboard tracking key KPIs across Mobile such as weekly market share, channel sales reports, aging stock, and P&L reports.Current Market Price comparison report, future market price simulation based on industry sales data.Channel sell in/sell out Analyses by models by account.Maintain pricing for all models/sales accounts in Samsung systems.Interpret key PM support reports such as P&L, Consolidated Profit Report.
Identify key highlights and lowlights and suggested actions.Conduct regular Sales Promotion Analysis using TIM/ROI tools to identify effective spend, making recommendations for future promotion planning.Supply Chain ManagementWork closely with both Samsung's internal and external customers to ensure that the supply chain is managed efficiently and effectively.Focus needs to be put on channel to have the right balance of stock, to ensure our overall financial objectives are met, while at the same time maximising their stock turns and stock management requirements.The successful candidate will bring with them:5+ years in a similar role.Very strong written, verbal, presentation, and effective listening skills.Intermediate/advanced PC skills using MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
