Management (Information & Communication Technology) Local Government (Government & Defence) Full time Technology Services at Auckland Council is seeking experienced and results-driven Product Managers to join our team.
In this role, you will lead the development and management of a diverse range of products, ensuring they effectively meet the needs of both our internal and external customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our initiatives.
In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute strategic product initiatives that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
Through comprehensive market analysis, you will inform both the overall product and service strategy as well as the specific elements of product design.
You will create and manage detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features and functionalities to maximize impact.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive successful product development and continuous improvement, ensuring that customer needs remain a top priority.
Additionally, you will monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization, defining the value of solutions within the organizational context to achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities: Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies that align with the organisation goals and objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to inform overall product and service strategy and specific elements of product design.
Product Roadmap: Create and manage detailed product roadmaps, prioritising features and functionalities.
Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and continuous improvement that meets customer needs.
Product Performance: Monitor and analyse product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Delivery Value: Define the value of solutions within the organisation context to ensure business goals are achieved.
Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary level requirement qualification, preferable Commerce, Information technology and/or equivalent industry qualification or extensive relevant business experience.
Proven experience (10+ years) as a Product Manager in an enterprise level organisation.
Deep experience communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualified/Certified in Agile, Scrum based delivery (preferably SAFe).
Experience working with Agile tools: preferably Azure DevOps.
High level understanding of a wide range of technology and architectural patterns.
