HiveLabs OÜ is looking for a Product Manager to work remotely alongside our small but growing cross functional Product Team to build high quality web software.24-month contract with option to extendFully remote, with optional monthly co-working days in our Northcote (Victoria) co-working space.$750-1200 AUD per day, dependant on skill level.4 days a week. You'll get to choose when you work, but you will need to: Be present for core overlap days (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays);Be present for core overlap hours (10:00–15:00 Melbourne time);Be present for agreed-upon team meetings and discussions (which will be scheduled within core overlap hours);Be comfortable working with adult content and with marginalised communities, especially sex workers, neurodivergent people, and disabled people.Reports to our Head of ProductThis role is only open to residents of Australia (excluding SA, QLD, and TAS), New Zealand, and Estonia who have the right to work in that location. This is a contract role and you must have or obtain appropriate business registration and the right to work in your country of residence.About this role Our Product Engineering team works on both external products for our users and internal products for our colleagues in other departments. We are looking for a Product Manager to focus on one of these roadmaps, working with Design and Engineering to establish projects & deliver high quality solutions end-to-end.As a Product Manager at HiveLabs OÜ, you will: Define and deliver projects:Define the problem to be solved, and how it speaks to the product vision and roadmaps.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, plan around dependencies, and prioritise delivery:Work with Design and Engineering to scope achievable solutions;Work with our Engineering Managers on capacity planning and scheduling;Work with other relevant stakeholders to ensure their input is considered, and they are kept informed.Collaborate throughout projects on scope changes and adapting to technical constraints.Set, measure, and improve success metrics for the products you manage and iterate as needed to ensure the core problem is solved.Collaborate with the Head of Product on roadmapping: Prioritise work from a range of inputs and differing needs, find the balance between competing priorities as they impact the roadmaps you're responsible for;Be comfortable with ambiguity and working towards creating a shared understanding;Sequence work in cohesive streams for efficient project planning and delivery;Use data to understand user behaviour and needs to inform our roadmaps;Continually identify opportunities to improve the products within your remit.Cultivate a strong team culture & system of work: Participate in standups, retros, and planning meetings;Suggest and implement improvements to our team processes;Receive feedback with a growth mindset and incorporate it into your future work;Strive to embody our company values, in your day to day.What we're looking forYou are proficient in:Modern product discovery and delivery techniques.Managing and delivering on a product roadmap.Using analytics and data analysis to inform decisions (we use a combination of Metabase and Posthog for most of our data analysis needs).Working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment.Effective collaboration with non-technical stakeholders, ensuring they are heard and included.Managing stakeholder expectations.Making decisions with limited information and iterating on them over time.In your work, you prioritise: Continued learning and growth.Taking initiative.
