About The Role : We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Management Specialist , based in Albany.
This is a 12-month parental leave cover position.
Reporting to the Marketing & Customer Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, focusing on Digital Access Solutions (DAS) and Commercial Hardware products from inception to launch.
Further, you will define requirements and navigate across systems while efficiently overseeing products within our portfolio and diligently monitoring their market performance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working closely with the NZ Specification & Digital Access Solutions Sales Director and AU DAS and Commercial Product Managers to deliver new products to market by sponsoring new product innovation projects.
Ensuring they are executed by the established Gateway Process from opportunity identification, development, implementation, and launch to post-launch audit.
Ability to understand new global technologies and combine these with future market trends to generate meaningful strategies that deliver against business and customer objectives.
Generation planning for the NZ market and creating NZ market-specific Business Cases for Gateway.
Perform regular reviews of Digital Access Solutions and Commercial Hardware portfolio performance to identify trends and subsequent opportunities for complexity reduction, new product introduction or other responsive measures in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
Monitor relevant market activity in the form of addressable market size and active and possible trends.
Provide recommendations for product price positioning.
Assist Product Development in creating product management slides for current projects being implemented.
About you: Two to four years of experience in Engineering, Product Management, or related field.
In-depth knowledge of digital technology concepts, wireless communication protocols, and mobile applications.
Strong analytical, prioritisation, and negotiating skills.
Experience in usability and customer-focused design.
Passion for identifying great products to solve customer and business problems.
Results-driven approach to product management.
Good numerical and statistical analysis skills.
