Gentrack New Zealand is currently hiring a Product Engineering Manager! We are looking for an Engineering Manager in the Delivery Engineering Product Technology team to lead and guide teams and individuals responsible for delivering products, maintenance, and new technology to our customers in New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and maintaining a high degree of quality in the core software product roadmap. We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader who can drive ongoing improvement and innovation, foster a high-performing team environment, and connect the work to the wider business context.In this role you can expect to:Lead and guide teams and individuals responsible for delivering products, maintenance, and new technologyEnsure compliance with regulatory bodies in New Zealand, Australia, and SingaporeMaintain a high degree of quality in the core software product roadmapDrive ongoing improvement and innovation across all facets of the technology departmentFoster a high-performing team environment and grow the Gentrack brandUnderstand emerging technologies and their impact on customersWork with other senior staff and leaders to drive innovation across APACFacilitate team growth through an "experiment and learn" mindsetWhat you need to be successful:Experience in managing software development teamsProduct management and solution architecture experienceUtility domain knowledge is highly desiredA passion for people and a track record of nurturing and growing them to be the best they can beA 'host leader' mindsetExperience and ideas for influencing change and growth of development teams in key technology areas such as AWSA relentless drive for continuous improvement in processes, others, and yourselfExceptional communication skills and being a good listenerWhat we offer in return:Career development opportunities, we'll support your special interests and professional growthA talented team to work in.
