We're seeking a creative and driven Product Developer to join our mission of developing infant nutrition.This role will focus on developing infant and adult nutrition products, leveraging scientific research and market insights. You'll work with our sales team to gain insights on market research to identify emerging trends and consumer needs, ensuring our offerings are relevant and impactful.The main responsibilities of this role include:Supporting the NPD Manager in the implementation of Synlait's Infant and Adult Formula applicationsProject management of product development of our Advanced Nutrition (for Early life and Adult) portfolioProviding experience, guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholdersDriving new thinking, new technologies, and new attitudes in nutritional powders developmentMaking contributions to product/process improvements on existing manufactured productsSkills and ExperienceWe are looking for candidates with a degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field.Ideally, 3 years experience in product development, particularly within the dairy or food industry.Previous experience in early life or advanced nutrition products, formulation of products, trials, technical analysis, and product formulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to make informed decisions and drive product innovation.Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to launch.Prior knowledge and experience in milk powder manufacturing, including dry-blending process, are highly regarded.What's next?
