Te Mahi – About the jobWe currently have a very rare opportunity to join RNZ Concert's internationally recognised, award-winning music production team.
As a key member of the team, you will plan and oversee the recording, production and delivery of great live music events and content with a focus on classical music, delivering a vibrant live experience for our audience on air and online.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing live music event coverage and production.Producing and delivering high-quality recordings for our on-air and online audiences.Coordinating technical staffing and resources, presentation staff and liaising with concert organisers.Administration tasks including contracts, maintaining databases, and rights documentation.Coaching and guiding both musical and spoken contributors and ensuring quality artistic, editorial and production standards.Sourcing, processing, and producing audio content, including artist interviews and overseas concerts.Staying up to date and ahead of new recordings, productions, emerging artists (nationally and internationally), technological and industry developments.Contributing to team goals, performance targets, and professional development.A deep knowledge of classical and New Zealand music, artists, and repertoire.
