Produce Manager - Pak'Nsave Moorhouse

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to manage our Produce Department.
This role requires someone with ability and passion who will continue to grow this integral department.
The successful applicant will be able to plan, organize, lead and control the day-to-day operations of the Produce Department.
All interested applicants must have had previous produce experience and ideally stock ordering experience.
This role is full time 45 hours, one weekend day will be required.
Salary negotiable on experience.
The successful applicant must be physically fit as this is also a physically demanding role.
A forklift license and experience would also be a definite advantage.
This position will suit a person with the required experience looking to use their ideas and creativity to further develop the department.
In this role you will report directly to the Owner Operator and Store Manager.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring excellent standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained.The implementation of Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.The effective utilization of the department's personnel resources.Stock ordering to meet the store's requirements.The achievement of sales, gross profit, and wage budgets.Meeting the store's standards in customer services.Inventory control and handling.Efficient, effective stock control, monitoring waste control.If you believe you have the experience, skills, and attributes required for this position, we would love to hear from you.
