An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Produce Department, we are looking for someone to join our leadership team as a Produce Manager.

New World Halswell is located in a competitive and growing suburb. We are seeking for an innovative, dedicated and passionate person with relevant experience to lead our Produce Department. This role would ideally suit someone in an existing leadership role, looking to take the next step in their career.

Days and hours for this position will be discussed at the interview.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Ensure the Produce Department is presented to a very high standard at all times

Organise and lead the daily operations of the Produce Department

Provide engaging leadership for all members of your team

Plan the departments rosters and approving weekly time sheets.

Work collaboratively with the Fresh Foods and Store Manager to achieve agreed financial KPI's

Build positive relationships with suppliers and sales reps

Ensuring the produce team members are providing excellent customer service

Look for food trends and other ways to provide unique offerings to our customers

The implementation of our Food and Health and Safety requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key abilities:

Relevant industry experience

Effective time management skills

A proven record of training and success

High levels of organisation and reliability

Flexibility to work additional days/hours when required
