We're excited to announce that Pak'nSave Highland Park will be joining the community February 2025! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery, and liquor, we can't wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community!
We're currently seeking an experienced Produce Assistant Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.
The Role: Report into the Produce Manager, helping to ensure department targets and operational delivery standards are met or exceeded.
Assist with ordering and buying for the Produce department, making sure range matches the format and customer requirements.
Ensure the department is full, fresh, and appealing throughout the hours of trade and that stock levels are controlled appropriately.
Deputise for the Produce Manager as required.
Ensure staff are well trained and motivated to provide the best shopping experience for our customers.

What we're looking for: Has a passion for fresh produce and a good eye for quality and presentation.
Solid understanding of managing department financials and budgets.
Is computer literate and keen to learn and use the latest technology.
Has great people skills and the ability to lead a team of 12.
