Procurement Specialist W/M

Based in Auckland, NZ, and reporting to the Procurement Manager APAC, the Procurement Specialist role will be an integral hands-on role that will work in global cross-functional teams with project directors, project managers, suppliers, engineering, procurement team and other external/internal stakeholders to drive impactful initiatives that result in reduced supply-risk, increased supply-agility, and project savings.
Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver regular reports on procurement activities
Negotiate contracts/agreements with subcontractors as well as critical or high-risk suppliers
Manage purchasing activities for projects such as raising POs and following up on orders
Develop and maintain approved supplier list
Monitor supplier performance including quality, cost and delivery
Provide backup logistics support such as arranging domestic and international shipments
