Salary range: $107,284 to $143,694 depending on skills and experience
Korero mo te Turanga - About the Role Part of a high performing team, you'll use your procurement & contract management skills and experience to support MPI's Procurement team.
You will play an integral part in this mahi by supporting procurement functions and working towards MPI's strategic outcomes that include Prosperity, Protection, Sustainability, and Visible Leadership.
Responsibilities of this position will include proactively considering all opportunities for achieving effective delivery by ensuring funding is used efficiently, considering value for money and accountability.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting ICT but may involve supporting other business units as required. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, leading and facilitating procurement processes through to contract negotiation and signing, and providing advice and assistance to contract managers.

We're looking for someone who: Has experience working in procurement and contract management with at least 2 years and preferably 5+ years' experience with ICT procurement Has a proven track record in leading contract negotiations Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a diverse audience Experience in or understanding of risk management in a procurement and contract management context Experience in analysing issues, evaluating options, and reporting on them.
