As an integrated uniform solutions provider, we have long been providing expert assistance in a variety of industries across Australia and New Zealand.ADA New Zealand (ADANZ) is a new subsidiary of ADA and recently secured the NZDF Wearables Supply and Managed Services contract.The RoleThe Procurement Officer plays a critical role in our business by controlling costs, minimizing financial risks, improving financial performance, and ensuring that we have the right goods in the right place at the right price at the right time.Reporting to the National Operations Manager NZ, this role is an integral part of the Operational team.The Role ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management – develop and maintain effective relationships to foster and encourage collaborationNegotiation – develop strong professional relationships with supplier portfolioMeasure and monitor quality and supplier performanceProvide regular feedback to supplier baseRisk management – identify, mitigate and monitor riskLiaise with suppliers to monitor order status, delivery, and manage backordersAssist with warranty claims and provide product information to clientsEnsure supplier compliance with our environmental, social, and health and safety policiesBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring KPI targets are achieved and regularly reviewedIdentify procurement savings and implement initiatives to reduce total supply chain costsMonitoring and maintaining system information on all open order due datesEnsuring all data is accurate for vendor part numbers, cost price and barcodesWorking closely with suppliers to identify any products that are to be superseded or deletedArranging supplier meetings to ensure the company is up to date with new products / innovationsThe Ideal Candidate3+ years' experience in a strategic procurement roleRelated industry knowledgeExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approachHighly organised, with great time management and attention to detailExperience with supply chain systems and tools such as Microsoft D365Able to analyse situations and make sound decisions and recommendationsCan effectively build rapport with suppliers and deliver outcomes in a professional mannerTeam player who takes initiative and adapts quickly to changesWhat can we offer you?Innovative, service-oriented and inclusive team environmentAccess to Health & Wellbeing initiativesProfessional and Personal Development through our online learning platformHow to Apply?If this opportunity is of interest, please submit your CV by following the link below.
