Procurement ManagerThe Procurement Manager will be responsible for Inland Transportation procurement and contract management activities covering Australia and New Zealand. This role is positioned in Auckland and reports to the Head of Logistics & Services Procurement: Oceania.We OfferWorking with the local Maersk operations organisation whilst being a part of the global Maersk Procurement Operations team, and the wider Maersk Procurement community. In terms of personal development, this position polishes your ability to deliver results through internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage spot quote requirements end to end and associated activities, including rate filing.Management and compliance of Global Procurement rate engine (MRE).Invoice rate query resolutions – supporting Health Metrics.Drive e-procurement development for spot quotes.Support vendor onboarding – Sustainable Procurement, HSSE prequalification, rates, DocuSign, and Finance.Vendor Compliance (across all onboarding areas).Support category strategy analysis and development as well as contract negotiations.Work closely daily with Procurement Managers across the Inland Transport portfolios and Product stakeholders across Maersk and with colleagues within Region and Global.Some travel within Oceania must be expected.We are looking for:Strong procurement experience in supply chain management, logistics, or shipping preferred.Awareness of cost drivers will be highly valued.Strong communication & interpersonal skills through which he or she will engage a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally across a wide range of functions.
