At Summerset, we are passionate about providing quality services and care for our residents.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Procurement Manager to join the team in Wellington or Auckland. This role will be part of the Construction Business Unit, reporting to the Head of Procurement.You'll play an influential role in the procurement activities for our large-scale retirement village developments throughout New Zealand. You'll be managing a category of products, materials and services, and the role will include facilitating the sourcing of new products, implementing alternative and innovative supply solutions, managing supplier relationships and seeking to add value and deliver benefit throughout the supply chain.QualificationsMinimum 3 - 6 years' procurement experience, ideally within an engineering/construction/manufacturing environment, but not essentialRelevant Tertiary QualificationSelf-motivated with the ability to influence and motivate othersHigh level of confidence, negotiation skills and top-notch relationship skillsIdeally a fully qualified member of MCIPS or hold a Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant disciplineAdditional InformationDay to day health insurance coverHave a day off on your BirthdayStaff discounts through Summerset suppliersSick leave is available from day oneIf this sounds like your kind of role - apply now!
