As a Procurement and Contracts Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end procurement projects within the Infrastructure space with varying levels of complexity.
About the role | Ko te mahi nei Act as a leading contributor to the efficient and effective management of Christchurch City Council's procurement activities in the field of Infrastructure.Lead and manage allocated end-to-end sourcing projects which will often be low to medium risk and/or high risk.Support the Procurement Manager and Procurement and Contracts Category Lead in developing and implementing category strategies that support Council's strategic objectives and maximise benefits.Incorporate Contract Management to lead the development and implementation of contract management plans for operational contracts when required.Criteria: Key skills, experience and knowledge includes: Experience leading procurement projects within a medium to large organisation.High degree of knowledge regarding procurement disciplines and methodology.Proven ability to build and manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience in the management/delivery of infrastructure or operational projects.Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.Experience in Contract Management or Contract administration.Training/Education in Procurement, Project Management, Contract Management, Commerce, Business, Finance or Law.What's in it for you?
