Your responsibilities will include:Developing and executing procurement strategies.Managing substantial procurement projects.Overseeing risk assessment and contract drafting.Identifying, monitoring, and mitigating non-performance and risks.Implementing effective risk management strategies.Leading negotiations, facilitations, and dispute resolutions.You will bring the following skills/capabilities:Extensive senior-level procurement and commercial experience.Exceptional skills in stakeholder and supplier relationship management.A nuanced understanding of government machinery and keen political acumen.MCIPS or a tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent procurement experience.Proficiency in navigating government procurement processes and policies.Demonstrated expertise in managing contractual procedures.A deep appreciation of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to Aotearoa, New Zealand, and its relevance to daily work.If you feel you could add value to this role, and this important mahi, we would love to hear from you today!Please note, that you must have the right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
