As a Procurement Category Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of world-class strategic sourcing initiatives within the raw materials category.
This position involves developing and deploying strategies that maximize value from raw material suppliers, ensuring optimal vendor relationships and supply chain performance.Key Responsibilities Category Strategy: Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for raw materials that aligns with Suntory Oceania's business goals.
Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong supplier relationships, driving performance improvement and fostering collaborative innovation.
Manage the entire supplier lifecycle.
Contract Management: Lead the development and negotiation of contracts, ensuring commercial and legal compliance, and resolving disputes as needed.
Cost Optimisation: Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and value creation through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
Risk Management: Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and regulatory changes to mitigate risks in the raw materials category.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use procurement tools to collect, analyse, and report on key data related to supplier performance, cost savings, and market trends.
Strategic Sourcing: Support the design and execution of sourcing strategies that align with business development goals, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective procurement solutions.
What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of raw materials, including fruits and industry trends.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in procurement tools (, SAP ERP, eSourcing).
