Reporting to the Head of Strategic Sourcing, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Procurement Business Partner to drive collaborative category and procurement strategies in the technology area and deliver sourcing solutions to meet and exceed business and customer requirements.
Mo te Turanga | About the role This role is responsible for developing and executing commercial sourcing strategies and supplier performance activity in relation to all material suppliers within the business areas and technology platforms that you support. You will collaborate and work with senior functional leaders to understand their business, their key objectives and drivers; serve as their primary point of contact and advisor on all supplier-related matters and lead all commercial engagements for key suppliers on their behalf. You will come up with ideas and strategies, and drive change not just support it.
This role has a strong focus on thought leadership and stakeholder management. You will utilise your proven experience eliciting stakeholder support to plan, identify and execute deals to bring ASB significant value and efficiencies.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for applicants with solid experience in a Senior Procurement, Category Management and/or supplier focused commercial role in a corporate organisation. Technology procurement experience is essential but otherwise we are open-minded as to the industry but providing high customer satisfaction is paramount. Additionally we are looking for someone with good supplier risk awareness and knowledge, who is comfortable working in a regulated environment and has a good degree of contractual awareness.
You are likely to be working on several opportunities at one time and so your ability to lead commercial engagements, to drive change and deliver results whilst maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders will enable you to succeed on agreed Procurement strategies/plans.
