Te ahua o Te Turunga - The nature of the position Reporting to the Director Scholarships, this full-time fixed term role is accountable for ensuring the services that ENZ procures support the strategic objectives and deliver a quality scholar experience as well as achieving the outcomes for ENZ managed scholarship programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement and Contract Manager to manage and lead the procurement processes and procedures that support ENZ and the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Programme (MNZSP) objectives, New Zealand government's largest investment in international scholarships. You will do this in a way that delivers scholarship services of maximum efficiency, cost effectiveness and aligned with public sector best practice. Nga tino Pukenga/Wheako - Essential skills/experiences for the role To be successful in this role you will have: * Experience in the machinery of government in relation to procurement * Extensive experience in cooperative, partnering relationships with key stakeholders or suppliers driving innovation, added value and benefit realisation * Demonstrated experience in government procurement practice and the ability to provide support and advice * MCIPS or tertiary qualification, (Business, Law, Accounting, Commerce) or commensurate experience in procurement and/or the commercial sector * Extensive experience in dealing with change in a complex and dynamic environment * Demonstrate an understanding and connection to key concepts of Te Ao Maori, Te Reo Maori and an understanding of why Te Tiriti is important to Aotearoa New Zealand Te tono - How to apply To view the position description and to apply, please visit our careers website: to attach a covering letter that outlines why you are interested in the position and your CV which highlights your skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the role.
