Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity The key purpose of this role is to develop and execute Procurement Category Strategies and Plans and deliver Supplier and Contract Management outcomes to enable the best possible 'value for money' outcomes for Auckland Transport (AT).
The role will consider the 'whole of life cost' of the goods, services or works being procured, and will position Auckland Transport as 'customer of choice' for its suppliers.
Key responsibilities include: Develop and maintain a Category Plan with the relevant business unitsReport on progress and key metrics for the CategoryWork proactively with the relevant business units to develop understanding of the timing and business need for each procurementLead and own the development of Procurement/Supplier Selection Plans with relevant business units and progress the approval of those plans to meet programme requirementsImplement the plans through sourcing/market activitiesSupport relevant business units to implement supplier and contract management frameworkSupport, coordinate and, where appropriate, lead the ongoing supplier and contract performance management processesNa tau rourou | What will you bring?
