Te tūranga - The role The Financial and Commercial Operations Group are looking for a new Procurement Adviser to join their busy and growing team. Their aim is to ensure greater value for money for New Zealanders through better Te Pūtea Matua procurement practice, contract and supplier management. In this role you will: * Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance Te Pūtea Matua's procurement and contract management activities. * Provide advice to the business on current operating procurement processes and policy. * Support contract management practices across the organisation, including assisting with internal compliance monitoring. * Deliver low value-low risk procurement processes and assist with more complex activities as required. * Assist with the procurement aspect of project work as required. * Identify opportunities to streamline procurement activities and support implementation of initiatives within the team. * This is a great opportunity to work in a large and complex organisation and be exposed to a variety of high-profile projects.
