You'll be the type of person who takes a hands-on approach to safety while fostering a high performing, positive culture - someone who thrives in a competitive and dynamic business environment.Our Strathallan Street operation is 7 days per week, and this role has a roster of 10.30pm until 7am, Monday to Friday, but flexibility may be required to cover other days of operation.
You'll lead a dedicated team of 16 - 20 Processing Officers and support them to ensure courier parcels and product is sorted to achieve performance targets.
You'll also take ownership of the rostering, resourcing, and overall performance of the team.Our 'Safety Always' approach to health, safety and wellbeing of our people underpins all that we do and is core to our business.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in injury prevention, early intervention and continuous improvement.Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the wider leadership teamExcellent communication skills to elevate the team culture and team performanceA passion for upholding the NZ Post valuesAbility to clearly assign tasks and set objectivesHave a current OSH FL Certificate or F Endorsement or be willing to obtain oneReady to be a part of that story?
