ANZCO Foods Marlborough have a number of process worker positions available for the 2024/2025 season. While NCEA level one or relevant experience is useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided. These positions are day shift.ANZCO Foods Marlborough is located at 383 Alabama Road, Blenheim. Applicants must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. These positions are full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week, delivering a minimum of $889.80 per week with the potential to earn more when all allowances, including piece rates, are taken into consideration. Hours will fluctuate above 30 hours in line with workflows due to the seasonal nature of the business and annual close-down periods.Duties and Responsibilities:Yard duties and handling of livestockProcess meat carcasses according to customer specificationsSeparate organs and glands from carcasses using safe knife handling practicesOperate machinery to process, pack, and transfer carcasses or productsPack boned meat and meat products into cartonsMove carcasses to chillers and freezersLoad meat products into trucksClean and sanitise work equipment and work areasDesired Characteristics:Enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team playerWillingness to learn and developCommitted to safety and quality excellenceThe successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with an employee-focused and customer-driven company committed to a safe working environment.
