We are currently seeking a Process Worker to manage the cooking process (Evening shift 9pm to 5.30am) for our quality products. The cook will be responsible for the setup of the ovens, correct recipe selection, and overseeing the cooking schedule of products and the corresponding CCP verifications. You will also be responsible for scheduling the cooking times of products with a view to achieving optimum oven time utilization.
The role requires:
Excellent attention to detail: prescribed cooking procedures followed; required records for all procedures accurately maintained; procedures for oven setup, control and maintenance are met; inventory control managed so actual stock balances computer inventory. Ability to produce quality products to the required standards. Physical ability to move heavy racks in and out of ovens. Computer literate, with email to update production and notify other departments of changes to schedules; use the production tools to record the transfer of product. Ability to focus on continuous improvement. Active practitioner and advocate of critical hygiene procedures and Health and Safety in the workplace. To be successful, you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills. Experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential. You will have an understanding of food hygiene.
